The area now occupied by Holders Hill Road was originally open farmland held by All Souls College as noted in 16th Century records. Dollis Brook which generally runs in a north-south axis parallel with Holders Hill Road shared its name with Dollis Farm which occupied the area generally where Holders Hill Circus is located today. The farm continued to exist at least in part through until the early 1930’s. About this time, the road layout in this area was implemented and much of Holders Hill Road and the buildings fronting it began to take shape. The parade of shops at the north end of Holders Hill Road date to the late 1930’s with Holders Hill Court and some surrounding properties also dating from this time. The properties at 96 and 94 were a pair of semi-detached houses, whilst 92 Holders Hill Road was a detached house. All three properties were in need of some repair being more than 80 years old, and so a more economical approach was to demolish all three properties and construct a purpose built modern block of nine apartments.
